Snow-covered fields and trees

I am painting snow and snow-covered landscapes. “Winterfield” is complete and ready for a new home. To make this painting, I used a salt and water removal strategy and sponge for the underpainting. One this layer was dry and glazed, I used traditional painting methods and brushes to paint trees and wispy snow. Finally, I built in just enough diamond glitter to make the scene sparkle.
