Photo of the Day – March 3 – Sunflowers on Neon Green
I made a photograph of a section of a sunflower painting on which I am working. The painting looks nothing like this, in terms of color. Using old-fashioned cropping, toning and contrast and some newfangled digital tools, I re-colored the photograph to suit my taste. Is it still a photograph? Yes! I could have done all of these things I did to this photograph using traditional methodology.
Some will say that I have crossed the line into digital imagery. I welcome a good debate.
